The Barton Arts Movement volunteers are excited to announce that a new mural tour will be available during the City of Great Bend's June Jaunt festival, happening the first weekend of June.
On Saturday, June 3rd, a limited number of guests (22 per trolley ride) will accompany BAM volunteer Andrea Bauer on a guided tour of Great Bend's signature downtown murals to learn behind-the-scenes information about the subject matter, the artist, the steps that brought that mural to life, and more! Only two tours are available, one at 9 a.m. and one at 10 a.m., each with a limited capacity of up to 22 people. The City of Great Bend is graciously sponsoring the use of the Dolly Trolley, allowing guests to be seated in the signature trolley bus to enjoy the tour in comfort. Total tour length will be approximately 30 minutes long.
Tours will begin and end at the B-29 Mural painted by Arcy at the corner of Forest Ave & Williams St.
Seating on the trolley tour will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you miss out on a tour, the route is available here so you can walk the tour with your family and enjoy these amazing works of art on your own.
